Garda under investigation for theft

He then attended the garda station where he was told he was under investigation for theft. He was later suspended.


Garda Adrian Ivers from Cootehill garda station was suspended on suspicion of stealing seized property including Bluetooth speakers from the station. Garda Ivers successfully challenged his summary dismissal in court, but it appears disciplinary proceedings are still ongoing.


This is a regular occurrence by Gardai stealing property that has been seized during the course of a search
